Taste of Japan has a large menu focusing mostly on sushi and traditionally prepared entrees. For a small place they are not afraid to offer octopus, salmon and snapper. This is not the kind of place you would expect to find just a few minutes from Universal Studios. It is slightly obscured inside a K-Mart shopping center and a good place to go after a day of park hopping and cotton candy and hot dogs.
The kids may not be too fond of the place, but adults who appreciate traditional Japanese cuisine may enjoy themselves.
If you feel the urge to sing, the restaurant provides a separate Karaoke room in the back.
